Board Certified Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon
Dr. Cecilia Franco-Webb is one of the first female plastic surgeons in the Denver area with over 20 years of experience. In 1983, she received her Bachelor’s Degree from Stanford University followed by her Medical Doctorate from Stanford University School of Medicine in 1987. Dr. Franco-Webb completed her General Surgery Residency in Denver, Colorado and her Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Residency at the University of Colorado Denver Health Sciences Center in 1993.
For 17 years, she was an Assistant Professor at the University of Colorado Denver Health Sciences Center, instructing Plastic Surgery Residents as well as General Surgery Residents in the operating room and through teaching conferences. In addition, she had her own busy practice, concentrating on Breast Reconstructive Surgery and Cosmetic Breast and Body Surgery.
In 2011, she started Franco-Webb Plastic Surgery. Her specialties include breast augmentation, breast reduction, breast revision and corrective surgery, tummy tuck surgery, total body contouring, and liposuction surgery. Her many years of experience as a reconstructive surgeon greatly enhances her ability to achieve beautiful results, even in the most difficult of cases.
Breast Augmentation
In 2013, silicone implants were used in 72% of breast augmentations, and saline implants were used in 28%.
The majority of breast implants are placed under the chest muscles and through incisions in the breast creases.
Tummy Tuck
Women, ages 40 to 54, make up the majority of cosmetic surgery patients, accounting for 518,000 surgeries in 2012.
After pregnancy, most women have abdominal muscle wall laxity. Realignment of these muscles along with removal of excess skin and fat during a tummy tuck creates a firm, flat abdomen.
Breast Revision
Another common breast revision request for Dr. Franco-Webb is to downsize a woman’s breasts with smaller implants along with a breast lift.
